When I discovered analogue photography
I knew right away I had finally found my
medium. But the question ‘why?’ was less
straightforward.
Surely, I’ve had a visual interest for as
long as I can remember. But there were
less outspoken reasons, too. Eventually,
I realized that my world felt incomplete
if I couldn’t engage with other people
in an intense way. When photographing,
I get lost, in a way that you want to get lost.
